That is why you can see our performance stand above the rest of the competition. These are tried and true products and techniques that come with a wide selection of looks and textures. We would be happy to help you develop a one-of-a-kind look for your vehicle.
Vinyl vehicle wraps are fast becoming the primary way for enthusiasts looking to stand out from the pack to upgrade their cars. Previously, the only way to do that was to completely repaint your car. Not only did that process costs thousands more than a wrap, but it took weeks longer and it ruined the warranty and resale value of the car. Today’s car wraps can be easily taken off, replaced or repaired. They can even go on leased vehicles because they don’t ruin the paint – in fact they help protect the paint underneath and are a great way to protect your investment. Each car is different, with a unique shape and component pieces. An expert touch is needed to get a great looking wrap on every project. We work with owners to get the exact design they are looking for, custom-tailored to their vehicle. Whether you are an auto enthusiast looking to stand out from the crowd or a company looking to take advantage of mobile advertising, car wrap Houston should be your next call. We make sure to do our wraps right the first time and all of our wraps come with a 100% satisfaction guarantee and a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty. Our wide-ranging project experience ensures that we provide you with the highest level of quality on your vehicle wrap, all while keeping prices reasonable. We can wrap cars, trucks, SUVs, vans, busses, boats, semi-trailers, you name it. Some of the options for themes and colors are matte, chrome, satin, brushed metal, camouflage and color changing wraps. You name it and we’ve probably done it before. Don’t waste your time and money with a cheap fly-by-night shop. We stand behind and are proud of our work. Call us today: 346-616-1314. |

OUR Five Step Prep Process
Expert Car Wrap Houston
We take a detail-oriented approach to the car wrapping process and it all starts with getting the car ready to be wrapped. The preparation stage is key to eliminating unwanted bubbles and lines later on down the road. We start with a simple car wash and continue with a full auto detail. Next, we remove bumpers, trim pieces, and accessories and components. We make sure to get into all of the hard to reach places that may not be visible at first but are vital to get the wrap to stay in place for the long haul. We target road grime, tar, dust and debris to make sure that the car is completely free of any contaminants that could get between the paint and the wrap. Finally, we deep clean the car with an isopropyl alcohol detail. We work this into every piece and surface to make sure that we have a clean canvas to work from. At Car Wrap Houston we work with high end cars (Ferrari/Lamborghini/Audi R8/etc.) all the time. So we know how to take care of vehicles the right way and make sure that the finished product is truly high-end.
Commercial Vehicle Wrap Houston: Mobile Advertising
A single working vehicle can generate between 30 and 80 thousand impressions per day, according to ARD Ventures. If you have one work truck for your sole proprietorship or you have a fleet of vehicles at work in the city, the value proposition for vehicle wraps is astonishingly good. Billboards, radio and tv advertisements will cost you far more money for similar impression metrics. They also charge you monthly and renewal fees. Vehicle wraps are a one-time cost that will pay dividends for years. When you ensure that every vehicle in your fleet is wrapped, and your message and brand is seen by the public, the return on investment can be the best advertising decision you ever make. More people in more locations will identify with your business and your brand. Your vehicle will work for you on the highway, in a trafficked parking lot, it can even pull double duty while at work at a customer’s location by getting the word out at the same time.

Vinyl Wrap Houston: Types of Wraps
There are two different types of wraps: pre-cured and digitally printed. Pre-cured wraps come in a multitude of solid colors from matte to metallic as well as textured films (think carbon fiber or crocodile skin). Digitally printed wraps are designed on a computer and are wide format printed on-site. Likewise, there are two different types of wrap films: cast and calendared. Cast vinyl is thinner, highly conformable, clean-removing and repositionable. Calendared vinyl is thicker, contains a more aggressive adhesive and absolutely should not be used in a vehicle wrap. Both categories of film can and are used for pre-cured or digitally printed wraps on vehicles, but good shops will only use cast vinyl to wrap a vehicle. Calendared films cannot conform to convex and concave surfaces along with the curves of your vehicle the way cast film does. When calendared film is stretched tightly along curves or crevices, they might look great at first, but quickly tighten and cause bubbles at the edges.
Unfortunately, there are a lot of fly-by-night tint and sign shops offering car wraps as a tertiary service that think they can increase their margins by buying the calendared vinyl that is 50-75% cheaper and think that because it’s thicker and has a stronger adhesive it will work just fine. Don’t go the cheapest route, make sure you get a quality wrap even if its not from us. If you’re researching vehicle wrap providers, make sure you know what you’re getting. Ask about brand and product specifications. 3M and Avery Dennison make great, high-quality products here in the USA. There are other small name brands that make good products, but many more that are cheaply made and will end up costing you a lot more once it fails and you have to get it replaced. Do your research and ask questions. Insist on brand name and manufacturer warrantied vinyl. The knock-off films won’t live up to their promises.
There are three main types of wide-format printers for vehicle wraps: UV, Latex and solvent/eco-solvent.
UV (Ultra-Violet) printers are great for doing signage and window graphics, but UV printed vinyl has a greater risk of the ink cracking underneath the laminate because the UV lights make the ink brittle when dry and does not do well stretched and conformed to vehicle curves.
Latex printers are the best and brightest tech in the world of car wraps today. Latex printers are unique in that they use multiple fans and extremely high-powered heaters to cure the ink as it is laid down on the vinyl. This results in 100% dry ink immediately after printing. Latex printers eliminate the need to dry or “off-gas” which makes them the ideal choice for vehicle wrap printers.
Solvent and Eco-Solvent printers are the OG car wrap printers for the industry. This is where it all started. These printers saturate vinyl with heavy amounts of ink that takes a long time to dry off. This is where the term “off-gas” came from as the ink can be pretty stinky. The main disadvantage of using these types of printers is that they take 48 hours to dry before laminating. If you find a shop that uses these types of printers and needs your car for 48 hours or less – you might want to reconsider. They have no intention of letting it dry fully before applying it to your vehicle, and the high concentration of ink can attack the adhesive on the back of the vinyl causing it to peel or bubble back. That being said, this is where vehicles wraps got started and can be perfectly fine if done by a professional team that respects the process. You’ll just need to wait a little longer for it to look right. 346-616-1314.
